Very Important Pets live-in service is the perfect solution for both your pets and your home. Your pet gets the best possible care and you get added security.
VIPs live-in service is available for:

We will take over where you left off and maintain your pet's routine, we will love and care for your pet like they were one of our own. They will receive the very best professional care and attention and you will have complete peace of mind while you are away.
The live-in service is perfect for your pet if he doesn’t get on with other animals; is elderly; has never been vaccinated; or you have a multi-pet household.
If your pet needs special care or medication – no problem. We are veterinary trained so are familiar with most medical conditions and are experienced and trained to give all medications.
We can also perform light domestic duties while we are living in your home such as mail collection, feeding fish, watering house plants. Your house will be maintained to a normal standard but clients are respectfully asked to note that the pet sitters are not professional cleaners.
Extra information
- Very Important Pets will meet you and your pets before your planned trip and collect a set of house keys; we will go through your pet's routine with you, and discuss any domestic duties required.
- All pet foods and medications are to be provided by the client. Please make sure you leave enough food and medication to last the duration of your pet sitters stay.
- Your house must be of a reasonable standard and clean and comfortable for your pet sitter to live in. If at your first meeting your pet sitter does not feel that your house is of a reasonable standard then they have the right to refuse to live in your house.
- VIPs charges a daily rate not a nightly rate and has a minimum live in/booking period of two days. All bookings where the sitter stays one night will be charged as two days.
- Please note: with the dog sitting service your live in pet sitter will be permitted to leave your house for a maximum of 4 hours to continue with other pet sitting jobs or private chores, if your dog can not be left for this long please let us know when you first enquire as an additional charge can be added for full time sitting if required.
- We ask all clients using the live-in dog service to pay for their pet sitters travel costs, this will apply on the initial meeting with you and on the first and last days of the assignment, the amount to pay will depend on where your sitter is coming from so please check with your pet sitter before your first meeting. This amount is to be paid directly to your pet sitter and not to VIPs. If you pet sitter is required to use his/her car during the assignment to transport your pet on a daily basis then a nominal fee of £3 per day should be added to your pet sitters total amount to cover petrol and wear and tear of their car.
