Puppy training classesThere’s something exciting about getting a new puppy isn’t there? But if you want your little bundle of fur to become a well-behaved and well-adjusted dog it’s worth investing in puppy training classes.

Our puppy training classes are great fun for you and your dog and they’ll help you to develop a happy and rewarding relationship with your puppy.

Puppy training classesOur puppy training classes cover three main topics: socialisation (other puppies, children and noises etc.), puppy problems (biting, mouthing, jumping up and house training), and good manners (sit, down, come, stay, stand, lead walking etc.).

And our highly experienced puppy trainers only use up-to-date methods of training – such as rewards based training – that are kind and fair to puppies and are proven to work.

Where are our Puppy Training Classes?

Our puppy training classes run for four weeks and take place in the following areas:

Wimbledon:

Every Tuesday night at the Christ Church Hall, Cottenham Park Road, Wimbledon, London SW20 0HG.

We limit our puppy training class sizes to ensure each puppy gets the right amount of attention. Our classes get booked up quickly, so please call us now to book your class.

Price List for Puppy Training Classes

  • Beginner’s class: A four week puppy obedience and socialisation course for puppies from two to six months £85.
  • Beginner’s class: A four week puppy obedience and socialisation course including a one-to-one pre class home visit for 1.5 hours £150.
  • Beginner’s class: A four week puppy obedience and socialisation course including a one-to-one ‘off the lead’ walk for an hour £125.
  • Beginner’s class: A four week puppy obedience and socialisation course including a one-to-one pre class home visit for 1.5 hours and an ‘off the lead’ walk for an hour £200.
  • Adolescent training classes: A four week course for puppies over six months £85.
  • Adolescent training classes: A four week course for puppies over six months including a one-to-one walking session ‘off the lead’ £125.
  • Preparation for new puppy: One hour session covering puppy training and care £60.
  • New Puppy: Get off to a good start with a two hour puppy training lesson for puppies under 14 weeks old £110.
  • Puppy’s first ‘off lead’ walk: Two one hour training sessions including one hour at your house and one hour in the park £120.
  • Puppy training packages: Four one hour puppy training sessions at your home £200.

If you purchase a puppy training package you’re advised to use all the sessions within a two month period to ensure you and your puppy get the best results possible.

Meet our Puppy Trainers

Heidi Zouroudis

Heidi Zouroudis

Heidi Zouroudis
Senior dog trainer, responsible for leading the dog training team and expanding our training schools.

Heidi is a Qualified Veterinary Nurse and has over 12 years experience in veterinary practice. While working in the veterinary world she developed an interest in canine and feline physiology and took her interest on to do a Companion Animal Behaviour course via Improve International in 2005 and passed with distinction. Heidi has been seeing both cats and dogs for one-to-one home visits since then and set up behavior modification programs to assist in improving their various problems. Heidi has been running puppy socialisation and adolescent dog training classes for the last 3 years. She also sees these puppies for one-to-one home visits as well as adult dogs for both training and behavioral assistance.

Heidi is keen on using kind and effective positive training methods including clicker training. She is currently completing an advanced dog training instructors course with the Association of pet dog trainers and is working towards becoming a Member of the APDT.

Heidi continues to keep herself up-to-date with the latest seminars and training courses.

Zoe Tomlinson BSc Hons, PG Dip CABC
Zoe has been working as a dog and puppy trainer for over 9 years. After completing a degree in Biological Sciences and a post graduate diploma in Companion Animal Behaviour Counseling, she worked as a dog trainer for the assistance dog charity Canine Partners, and from there moved on to be Dog Supply Team Leader at Dogs for the Disabled. Since the end of 2008, she has been working as a freelance dog trainer, in and around London, training dogs of all shapes and sizes, ages and breeds.

Zoe is a full member of the APDT (01080) meaning that she abides to their code of ethics and only uses kind, fair and effective training methods. She is also a volunteer for Labrador Rescue South East and Central.

Guidelines for Puppy Training Classes

We can accept puppies from their first vaccination, providing they are in good health and your vet gives your puppy the ok. Any puppy not fully vaccinated must be carried to and from the class. We also ask that you bring along your puppy’s vaccination certificate with you to class.
